DESIGNERS: ANDRE LE NOTRE, CHARLES LE BRUN, LOUIS LE VAU, JULES HARDOUIN-MANSART

The Gardens of Versailles, located on the west of the Palace, cover 800 hectares, most of which are in the classic French formal garden style.
The gardens are filled with fountains and sculptues, many by Jean-Baptiste Tuby including the Apollo Fountain.
The gardens, along with the palace, are both on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
